Information Team of State Administration Council holds press conference 5/2021

Information Team of the State Administration Council held its press conference 5/2021 at the Ministry of Information this afternoon. Leader of the Information Team of SAC Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, member of Union Election Commission U Khin Maung Oo, Vice Governor of Central Bank of Myanmar U Win Thaw and representatives of departmental information teams answered the questions raised by the media.

Before the press conference, the officials concerned made COVID- 19 prevention and seating arrangements for those who attended the event.

Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun then gave a powerpoint presentation on undertakings of the education sector, accomplishments of SAC in April, the declaration of NUG, CRPH and PDF as terrorist organizations and the work of exposing saboteurs in detail.

UEC member U Khin Maung Oo also gave a powerpoint presentation on the current undertakings of the UEC, vote rigging occurred before and after the 2020 election, pressures towards the occurrence of vote rigging, the issuance of actual voter list scrutiny results in the dailies, and the further release of the final scrutiny results.

Later, the press conference concluded.

The attendees viewed and studied the facts for reference, undertakings of the current UEC, the results of voter list scrutiny and other necessary evidences and data avail at the press conference.

Members of SAC Information Team, representatives of the respective ministries, officials of Tatmadaw Information Team and invited guests, reporters of local news agencies, dailies, local TV stations and local based foreign news agencies were present.
