Security, Peace and Stability and the Rule of Law Committee of the Union of Myanmar held meeting 4/2021, with an address by Chairman of SAC Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing

Security, Peace and Stability and the Rule of Law Committee of the Union of Myanmar held its meeting 4/2021 at the State Administration Council Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw this afternoon with an address by Chairman of the Committee Chairman of SAC Prime Minister of the Provisional Government of the Union of Myanmar Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

 
Also present were SAC members Admiral Tin Aung San, General Maung Maung Kyaw, Mahn Nyein Maung, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, Lt-Gen Soe Htut, Union Chief Justice UTun Tun Oo, Union ministers Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, U Ko Ko, U TinHtut Oo, U Khin Maung Yi, U Khin Yi, U Myint Kyaing, Dr Pwint Hsan, Dr Thet Khaing Win, U Shwe Lay, Dr Thet Thet Khaing, Dr Daw Thida Oo and deputy ministers. Prime Minister of the government of Chin State U Ngon Hsan Aung, Prime Minister of the government of Thaninthayi Region U Myat Ko, Prime Minister of the government of Mandalay Region U Maung Ko, Prime Minister of the government of Rakhine State Dr Aung Kyaw Min, Prime Minister of the government of Shan State Dr Kyaw Tun took part in the meeting through video conferencing.

 
In his keynote address, the Senior General explained that the important functions of the committee is carrying out for the State and pointed out the need to ensure systematic security measures at the border trade centres, full administrative control over the centres as country has sovereignty over them, systematic use of forested areas without exploiting them for agricultural and other purposes and long-term urban and rural management programs. He also dealt with matters relating to the country’s security, stability, peace, rule of law and development and socio-economic development of the people.

SAC members, Union ministers, deputy ministers, and prime ministers presented matters relating to security, stability, peace and rule of law sector  wise. The Senior General looked into the requirements. The Senior General then gave the concluding remarks.
