Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspects operations of heavy industries of Tatmadaw in Mayangon Township

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by members and the joint secretary of the council, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Commander of Yangon Command Maj-Gen Nyunt Win Swe and officers, inspected the operations of the heavy industries in Mayangon Township this morning.

First, the Senior General and party were reported on the brief history of the industries, operations, manufacturing of vehicle parts and research, upgrading of the industries under the guidance of the Senior General by Lt-Gen Kan Myint Than and Maj-Gen Ko Ko Lwin.

After hearing the reports, the Senior General gave instructions on increased production of quality gas trucks, disinfectant trucks, water tank trucks, dump trucks and fire engines, which are needed for urban development and fire prevention, distribution of such vehicles to states and regions and research on the production of international standards vehicles.

Then, the Senior General and party inspected the production of vehicle parts with the use of modern machines and technologies, which was conducted around the industries by responsible officers, and the Senior General presented cash rewards for the staff of the industries.

Then, the Senior General and party inspected the fire engine, tank trucks, disinfectant spraying trucks and fuel trucks manufactured by the industries.

The heavy industry of the Tatmadaw manufactures fire engines that can carry from 2,000 to 2,200 gallons of water, water tank vehicles and fuel tank trucks, dump trucks and related parts such as jeep frames and bolts and nuts.
