State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspects local mechanical engineering training school in PyinOoLwin Station

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, senior military officers from the Office of the Comman-der-in-Chief, Commander of Central Command Maj-Gen Ko Ko Oo and officials, this

afternoon inspected local mechanical engineering school in PyinOoLwin Station.

At the meeting hall, Director of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Brig-Gen Nay Myo Oo reported to the Senior General on the brief history of the school, conducting of training courses, upgrade of teaching aid and improvement of the training school.

In his response, the Senior General said that the mechanical training schools of the Tatmadaw must have the same curriculum. This training school is an institution to conduct the basic mechanical subjects. The school must give training to the personnel who graduated from the training school to skillfully carry out the respective subjects of mechanical works in the Tatmadaw.

It is necessary to provide food and accommodation to the trainees meeting the standards.

Trainees must be capable of thoroughly studying the lessons. The Senior General pledged to fully provide necessary teaching aid for the respective lessons and left necessary instructions.

The Senior General visited the training school and viewed round the learning of trainees in the respective subjects in the training halls, and practical works of trainees with the use of teaching aid. The Senior General instructed officials to deploy the correct selection for the trainees to be able to apply their experiences from the training in the practical fields and to give training to the trainees to have initiatives for solving the mechanical problems with the use of the least number of tools.

Next, the Senior General cordially conversed with the trainees in the training process and inspected progress in extending the buildings to upgrade the training school.
