Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspects PyinOoLwin Railway Station, takes an inspection ride along PyinOoLwin-Zeebingyi Railroad Section

Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo of the SAC, union ministers U Tin Htut Oo and U Khin Maung Yi, Mandalay Region Chief of minister U Maung Ko, Chief of the General Staff (Army,Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief ,Commander Maj-Gen Ko Ko Oo of the Central Command and responsible officials, inspected the railway station in PyinOoLwin this morning.
Necessary to preserve PyinOoLwin Station in its original architecture as it is an ancient building First, the Senior General and party arrived at the railway station and were welcomed by Member of the SAC Union Minister for Transport and Communication Admiral Tin Aung San and responsible officials.
Afterwards, the Senior General inspected the railway station and the union minister, Managing Director Thura U Aung Myo Myint and responsible officials reported to the Senior General on salient points of the station. After hearing the reports, the Senior General pointed out the needs to keep the station and its environs clean, pleasant and beautiful, to conserve the station as it is an ancient one and to upgrade railway carriages and the railroad.
Take an inspection ride along PyinOoLwin-Anisakhan-Thonetaung-Zeebingyi railroad section Then, the Senior General and party took an inspection ride from PyinOoLwin along the railroad section to Zeebingyi and viewed the cool and pleasant natural scenes and seasonal plantations of Mountain Resort PyinOoLwin and activities of local residents. Then, the Senior General gave instructions to officials on upgrading of railroads and carriages for the development of the railway industry and rail pleasure rides and measures to be taken for cleanliness and pleasantness along the railroad.
The railroad station is located on Aungzeya Road in Ward-7,PyinOoLwin 3,506 feet above the sea level on Mandalay-PyinOoLwin-Nawngkhio-Hsipaw-Lashio railroad and was built in 1899. It is a station that has been serving the transportation and commodity flow of local residents for 123 years. The railway station building has beeb preserved in its original architecture and historical records and documentary photographs of the railway industry are displayed in the parlour of the station.
Then, the Senior General and party arrived at Zeebingyi Station and were welcomed by responsible officials.
