Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives President of Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Rustam Nurgaliyevich Minnikhanov

Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received President of Republic of Tatarstan Mr.Rustam Nurgaliyevich Minnikhanov, who is on a working visit to Myanmar, at the Credentials Hall of SAC Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw this morning.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Ministerfor Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Aung Naing Oo, Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut and officials. The Tatarstan President was accompanied byAmbassador of Russia to Myanmar H.E. Dr. Nikolay Listopadov, Deputy Prime Minister and Industrial and Trade Minister of Tatarstan Mr. KARIMOV Albert Anvarovich and delegation members.
The Senior General extended greetings. He thanked the President for arranging a convenient visit to Tatarstan in June 2021. The Tatarstan President said he visited the Maravijaya Buddha Park and came to know that the Maravijaya Buddha Image will become the largest of its kind in the world. He had witnessed the use of modern stone carving equipment and the erection of stone tablets of the Three Pitaka in the park.
He expressed pleasure to know that the Senior General is giving guidance for the park construction project. He expressed special thanks for arranging a convenient visit.
Afterwards, views on the enhancement of Russia-Myanmar diplomatic relations, cooperation in steel and industrial chemical industries and tourism, sending of military and civilian scholars, promotion of Russian-Myanmar cooperation and exchange of goodwill visits were cordially exchanged.
After the meeting, the Senior General hosted a luncheon in honour of the visiting president and delegation.
Also present at the luncheon together with the Senior General were SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win and officials. The visiting president was accompanied the delegation members.
During the luncheon, artistes of Fine Arts Department of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture entertained with melodious songs. After the luncheon, the Senior General and Tatarstan President exchanged souvenirs. They then presented cash awards to the artistes.
