Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing holds discussions with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN through Video Conferencing

Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held discussions with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN this morning through Video Conferencing.

At the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on death and injury of monks, public servants including teachers, doctors, nurses and ward administrators and innocent people including mothers and children caused by killings and terrorist acts of PDF in Myanmar, destruction of government-owned and private- and citizen-owned buildings due to terrorist bombs, minimum use of force in response to terrorist attacks under the selfdefence rights, observance of the ceasefire declaration, legal action taken against law-breakers and the amnesty granted on humanitarian grounds, declaration of ceasefire for perpetual peace and the olive branch extended to EAOs by the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services to hold ceasefire talks, the eruption of terrorism in some areas that stem from EAOs that violate NCA and ethics, government’s constant efforts and solemn promises for the participation of EAOs in the peace talks, the establishment of a Union based on democracy and federal system, aspired by the entire people, COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment undertakings, distribution of planned ASEAN humanitarian aid, cooperation for the arrangement of a revisit of special envoy of ASEAN chairman to Myanmar, the Tatmadaw’s assumption of State duties after the declaration of the state of emergency due to election problems, which is just an internal affair, and ASEAN’s cooperation in the related regional issues, efforts to make progress in implementing the five-point "consensus" of ASEAN, the demand for a constructive cooperation in the ASEAN, and Myanmar’s continued cooperation for producing best results.

Also present together with the Senior General were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin, Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing, deputy ministers and officials.
