Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepts credentials of Sri Lankan Ambassador H.E. Mr. J. M. Janaka Priyantha Bandara

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the credentials of H.E. Mr. J. M. Janaka Priyantha Bandara, the newly-accredited Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, at the Credentials Hall of the Office of the State Administration Council Chairman, Nay Pyi Taw, at 10 am today.

Afterwards, both sides cordially discussed diplomatic relations and bilateral friendship, promotion of tourism, Myanmar’s aid program for Sri Lanka, economic and agricultural cooperation and ongoing economic reforms of the two countries.

After the meeting, the Senior General and the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar posed for group documentary photos.

Also present on occasion were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin and Director-General of the Protocol Department U Wunna Han.
