A Myanmar delegation led by Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commanderin Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win left here for the Russian Federation this morning to attend the closing ceremony of International Army Games-2022 being held in Russia.

The Vice-Senior General and party was seen off by Members of State Administration Council General Mya Tun Oo and Lt-Gen Soe Htut, Secretary of the Council Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dway, Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air), Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Zaw Hein, Military Attaché of Russia to Myanmar Colonel Sergei Kurchenko and officials at the Nay Pyi Taw International Airport.

The Myanmar delegation arrived at Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, Russian Federation, in the evening at local standard time.

The Myanmar delegation was welcomed by Deputy Defence Minister of Russia Colonel General A.V. Fomin, Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Lwin Oo and wife, Myanmar Military attaché (Arm, Navy and Air) to Russia Brig-Gen Moe Kyaw and wife, Alexander V. Ostrvovskiy of FSMTC and officials at the airport.
