Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspects upgrading of Zwegabin sports ground in Hpa-an, defence services hospitals in Hpa-an, Mawlamyine

Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by entourages, Chief Minister of Kayin State U Saw Myint Oo, the commander of the Southeastern Command and officials, inspected the upgrading tasks of Zwegabin sports ground today.
First, the chief minister and Social Affairs Minister U Soe Lwin reported to the Senior General on completion of upgrading tasks of the sports ground in accordance with the guidance of the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister at the briefing hall of the sports ground.
After hearing the reports, the Senior General said the sports ground is required to meet the characteristics of a state-level sports ground and it is necessary to take the increasing population in the future into consideration for the long term. Then, the Senior General pointed out the needs to construct a stadium and a swimming pool with diving stands that meet state-level standards near the sports ground and to build a state sport complex that will train athletes of all types of sports and host various sports contests for the development of the sports sector and other needs.
Then, the Senior General and party inspected the upgrading tasks of the sports ground and gave necessary instructions on reports of the officials.
In the afternoon, the Senior General and party proceeded to the defence services hospital and cordially asked after the health of each Tatmadaw personnel and members of the police and the border guard force who were injured while carrying out national defence duties and are receiving treatments at the hospital. The Senior General spoke words of encouragement to and presented foodstuffs for each of them. Afterwards, the Senior General and party inspected the hospital and attended to the needs reported by responsible officers.
Then, the Senior General and party proceeded to the defence services hospital in Mawlamyine and cordially asked after the health of each member of security forces who are receiving treatments at the hospital before speaking words of encouragement to and presenting foodstuffs for each of them.
