SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla inaugurate Youth and Literary Art Exhibition to mark Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla attended to open the Youth and Literary Art Exhibition to mark Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023 at the Myanmar International Convention Centre-II in Nay Pyi Taw this morning.

Also present at the ceremony were SAC members and their wives, Union level officials, Union ministers and wives, the chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, senior military officers, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, deputy ministers, officials of relevant ministries and the Myanmar Maternal and Child Welfare Association, artistes, teachers and students, novices from monastic education schools and nuns.

First, Union Ministers U Maung Maung Ohn, Dr Nyunt Pe and U Min Thein Zan cut the ribbon to open the exhibition. The Senior General and wife unveiled the exhibition. The Senior General and wife posed for documentary photos together with attendees to the ceremony. They then took two and a half hours in viewing round the booths of the exhibition and the booth on screening the documentary film on “the noble Myanmar”.

In the second session of the ceremony held at the conference hall, students from No 6 Basic Education High School of NayPyi Taw performed dancing with the song “brethren in a befitting manner”, students from No 11 BEHS of Nay Pyi Taw the song “the country Myanmar”, students from No 20 BEHS and artistes the song “nationalistic spirit”, students from No 1 BEHS of Pyinmana the song “perpetual existence of Myanmar”, students from No 7 BEHS of Nay Pyi Taw the song “the strength of the Union”, students from No 5 BEHS the song “perpetual peace”, Myanmar Pyi Thein Tan the song “song of Independence” and Tin Maung San Min Win and troupe the song “Serving each duty”.

The Senior General and wife presented the flower basket and cash award to the students and artistes who performed song and dance entertainments. As a gesture of hailing the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, the Youth and Literary Arts Exhibition aims to motivate the students to read books and publications, know the advantages of literature, uplift patriotic spirit, prestige and integrity through movies and fine arts, adore the independence of the nation with the knowledge of independence struggle and sufferings in the colonial era, enjoy peace, stability and beautifying scenes of the nation with development activities as well as panoramic rural scenes to emerge the soul for adoring the relevant regions and states through the photo arts show, and easily know endeavours of relevant ministries through the displays of booths at the exhibition. The exhibition will last for 28 December, and it is formed with 62 booths of relevant ministries showcasing books and publications, bookstalls, record photos on screening the documentary film “the noble Myanmar” put on attractive display, and admission is free for students and enthusiastic people.
