Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win receives Ambassador of Russian Federation before departure from Myanmar after completion of his tour of duty

Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win received H.E.Dr. Nikolay Listopadov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar, who is going to leave the country as he has completed his tour of duty at the Credentials Hall of the SAC Chairman’s Office here this afternoon.

During the call, the Vice-Senior General said he was glad that the Russian Ambassador received a Wunna Kyawhtin title presented by the SAC Chairman on 26 June for his diligent work and achievements in promoting the bilateral relations and cooperation during the seven years of his tenure as Ambassador from 2016 to date. Next, the Vice-Senior General and the Russian Ambassador cordially discussed promotion of the bilateral amicability and cooperation, further strengthening of the cooperation between the two governments and the two militaries, further cementing of the cooperation in multiple sectors and exchange of assistance between Myanmar and Russia in the international arena as both are the friendliest countries. Then, they exchanged gifts and posed for a documentary photo.

Also present at the call together with the Vice-Senior General were Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut and officials.
