Ceremonies to unveil the plaque of Aggadipati Sasana Beikmandaw in Maravijaya Buddha Park, Dekkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, Union Territory, where Maravijaya Buddha Image,which will become the tallest stone Buddha Statue in seated posture in the world, is under construction, to install a holy single hair between eyebrows of the Buddha images, to place archival tablets for stone tablet pagodas were held separately this morning, attended by the main donor Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
Also present were Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General, the SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, Chief of General Staff (Army,Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and wives, union ministers and wives, the Nay Pyi Taw Council chair, the Nay Pyi Taw Command commander and officials.
Master of ceremonies read out letter on Mingala Mawgun at the ceremony to unveil the plaque of Aggadipati Sasana Beikmandaw. At the auspicious time, the main donor Senior General unveiled the bronze plaque by pushing a button and sprinkled scented water on it.
Then, the ceremony to install a holy single hair between eyebrows of Naungdaw Gyi Buddha Image in the Beikmandaw was opened by reciting namotassa three times. The congregation led by the Senior General and wife recited religious verses in chorus.
When the Senior General took position to install the hair relic, the MC read out the paper on the holiness of ceremony. At the auspicious time, the Senior General installed the hair relic and sprinkled scented paritta water on the image.
The Vice-Senior General and the chief of general staff sprinkled scented paritta water on the image.
Ceremony to install the holy hair relic of the Buddha Image in Mucalinda Nagayon Temple was opened by reciting namotassa three times.
The Senior General took the respective position, installed the holy hair relic and sprinkled scented paritta water on the image.

The ceremonies came to an end by reciting Buddha sasanam cirantithu three times.
Confetti was thrown to mark the success of the ceremonies.
Ceremonies to consecrate the Maravijaya Buddha Image, hoist the sacred umbrellas of the stone tablet pagodas and share the merits will be held on the fullmoon day (Dhamma Sakka Day) of second Waso, 1385 ME (1 August 2023) on a national scale.
