Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives delegation led by commandant of military university of Ministry of Defence of Russian Federation

    Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Lieutenant General Igor MISHUTKIN of the military university of Ministry of Defence of Russian Federation at the parlor of the Bayintnaun Yeiktha in Nay Pyi Taw this afternoon.

Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and high ranking officers of the Office of the Commander-in- Chief of Defence Services and the commandant of the military university of Ministry of Defence of Russian Federation was accompanied by military attaché Colonel Sergey Kurchenko of the Russian Federation and officers of the military university.

First, the Senior General cordially greeted the delegation of the Russian Federation led by the commandant.

Then, the commandant of the Russian Federation expressed his gratitude for warmly welcoming them. He added that they were extremely proud of the decision of the Military University of Defence Ministry's board on 23 June, 2021 of conferring the Honorary Professor of the Russian University on the Senior General for strengthening of cooperation between the two armed forces, cooperation for military technological development, thriving cooperation between the two countries by sending scholarship trainees and strengthening relations between the two armed forces and the two governments. They continued to frankly discuss the potential for enhancing cooperation between the two armed forces, training courses of the Russian Federation military university, teaching Russian language courses and expansion of existing Myanmar language courses and successfully defending the people of the two countries by the two armed forces as they were born out of the people.

After the meeting, the Senior General and the commandant exchanged gifts and posed for documentary photographs together with the participants.
