Three of the four suspects under arrest warrants apprehended  and transferred to People’s Republic of China for legal proceedings

    The Kokand Self-Administered Zone Court has already issued arrest warrants on the 15 of November 2023 to take legal actions against Ming Xuechang, Ming Gulping (aka) Ming Xiaoping, Ming Julan, and Ming Zhenzhen who have been involved in or attempting to commit, as well as collaborating on various organized crimes such as online fraud, seduction, abduction, illegal detention, and extortion in the Kokand Self-Administered Zone of Shan State. The news on the issuance of arrest warrants had already been reported.

Among them, Ming Xuechang, Ming Gulping (aka) Ming Xiaoping and Ming Zhenzhen were apprehended in Laukkai of the Kokang Self-Administered Zone. During their arrest, Ming Xuechang shot himself with the pistol in his illegal possession, and was wounded.

He died while receiving medical treatment. Officials of Myanmar Police Force transferred the suspects to the police force of Yunnan Province, the People’s Republic of China, at Yanlonkyaing border gate at Myanmar-China border at 1.50 pm today to take legal action against them. The body of Ming Xuechang was under verification and was not taken to China.

The government’s law enforcement teams are investigating and combating all attempts or involvements in, as well as collaborating on, organized crimes to commit online fraud, seduction, abduction, illegal detention, and extortion in the whole country. Moreover, the government has established constant contacts with neighboring countries and is actively cooperating with them.
