A ceremony to lay a honorary bouquet and salute fallen heroes was held at the Memorial to the Fallen Heroes (Nay Pyi Taw) in the morning of the 79th Anniversary Armed Forces Day today and Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing laid an honorary bouquet at the memorial and saluted the fallen heroes.
Also present at the ceremony together with the Senior General were Vice Chairman of the SAC Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Thiri Pyanchi Maha Thray Sithu Soe Win, Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Thiri Pyanchi Sithu Maung Maung Aye, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice Admiral Zeya Kyawhtin Zwe Win Myint, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Zeya Kyawhtin Sithu Tun Aung, retired senior military officers and senior officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief.
First, the Senior General and senior military officers took up their positions in the memorial and the square and the Senior General laid the honorary bouquet and saluted the fallen heroes together with senior military officers.
Then, the Senior General and senior military officers signed the guest book of the memorial and inspected round the memorial.
