Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win meets trainees of infantry platoon commander course and cadets at Bahtoo Station

Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win met trainees of infantry platoon commander course and cadets at the Aung San Hall of Tatmadaw (Army) Combat Training School (Bahtoo) in Bahtoo Station this morning.

Present together with the Vice-Senior General were senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Eastern Command commander, instructor officers, trainees and officials.

The Vice-Senior General explained in detail political, economic, defence and social situation of the country from the time Tatmadaw resumed State duties in accord with the Constitution on 1 February 2021 to the present time, global political, economic, military conflicts and tensions, better combat skill of all soldiers who recite the Four Oaths daily, efforts to study military science and practice military techniques at military training schools for enhancement of combat skills and to use them practically in the battle field, the launching of counter-offensives after exposing enemy military tactics and taking them as lessons, gradual development in group-wise combat skill, based on individual progress, combination of the inherited vigor and learned battlefield prowess through hard training and practical application to effectively use them for battle victory, harmonious combination of combat ability and fighting power for battlefield victory, constant understanding of the reason behind their own volition to join the military, dutifulness of the fairly assigned responsibilities and task, the essentiality of 16 leadership traits, good leadership spirit and parental spirit and nondiscrimination practice, knowing the time and situation, five basic qualifications for every unit and soldier and the observance of the 12 fine traditions of Tatmadaw. The Vice-Senior General’s clarifications also included the enforcement of the people’s military service law and reserve force law on 10 and 13 February 2024 respectively to safeguard Our Three Main National Causes based on internal and global conflicts and tensions, the existence of both laws as unsanctioned ones since 4 November 2010, the need to thoroughly study the laws and to share knowledge about them with families and communities of the persons who are within the required age, the plan that is to save the persons and families who are going to sacrifice their lives without a course due to their lack of knowledge about the laws and rules that are being explained by the government through State-owned media, TV and radio and newspapers, the need to organize the people with consideration, the need to provide assistance in a way to expose and take action against corrupted civil servants of the lower levels who are exploiting the innocent persons who totally lack knowledge about the laws through intimidations and pressures that are against the laws.

The chief of defence production, the chief of air defence forces and deputy director of directorate of military engineers shared necessary lessons with trainees and cadets and instructors who asked for more information about the unclear points.

The Vice-Senior General and party enjoyed lunched together with the trainees at the dining hall of Tatmadaw (Army) Combat Training School (Bahtoo).
